Exposure Visit under PM Shri Activities

Place of Visit- Nehru Science Centre, Worli, Mumbai

Dates of Visit – 21/03/2024 and 28/04/2024

Time spent-  5-6 hours

Classes – VI, VII, VIII and IX

650 students of the school visited Nehru Science Centre. On each student , Rs 40 ticket was purchased and they were shown Science Odyssey, 3-D Show, Science on Sphere and Art Gallery. The lunch and an evening snack was provided to students. This visit brought   the developments of science & technology to the students for prosperity, awareness, and improving the quality of life. The centre attempted to enhance public understanding of science and spread scientific literacy. Students enjoyed a lot during the visit.

Impact on students- During the visit, children got to know about the Scientific literacy and their use in their life. The students enjoyed and experienced basic principles of Science and technology.

Impact on Parents- The parents found this very useful for the students . They felt that this trip is very entertaining as well as knowledgeable for students.

Place of Visit– Regional Agricultural Research Station, Karjat

Time spent –  5-6 hours

Classes – XA, XB, XC, XD

Students of the school visited Regional Agricultural Research Station, Karjat. The lunch and an evening snack was provided to students. This visit brought the developments of science & agriculture to the students for prosperity, awareness, and improving the quality of life. The centre attempted to enhance public understanding of science and spread scientific literacy. Students enjoyed a lot during the visit.

Impact on students– During the visit, children got to know about many types of crops and their agricultural practices. The students enjoyed and experienced to plant more trees and a correct method to grow various kinds of crops.

Impact on Parents- The parents found this very useful for the students . They felt that this trip is very entertaining as well as knowledgeable for students.
